Hey, I’m Sarah. I live in Massachusetts and I’m a mother of four, which means my life is loud, chaotic, hilarious, and deeply meaningful all at once. I’ve been photographing families professionally for over 14 years—since before my daughter Claire was born—but my love for art, light, and seeing the world a little differently has always been part of who I am.

I’m a runner, a creative wanderer, and someone who is constantly falling down new rabbit holes. Photography, painting, pottery, whatever creative idea has grabbed my attention this month. I like learning, evolving, and letting curiosity take me somewhere new. Standing still has never really been my thing.

For most of my younger years, I tried very hard not to be noticed—baggy clothes, tomboy energy, please don’t look at me.

Now I’m 41 and, for the first time in my life, I actually feel good in my own skin.

Turns out confidence feels a lot better than invisibility.

Photography, for me, is a way of paying attention.

The quiet hand squeezes. The eye rolls. The way a nose scrunches up in curiosity. The side-smile someone gives the person they love. The way someone’s chin shifts down and their eyes shift up as they tuck their hair behind their ear.

A camera in my hand is my love language.
It’s how I pay attention. I’d love to share that with you.
